Athleticism

I’ve already touched on Bazemore’s wingspan, but there’s a lot more to the physical aspects of his game. Bazemore is an astonishingly versatile athlete, with what’s pretty close to the full package of physical tools.

He has great quickness, both in a straight line towards the rim, and laterally when checking the opposition on defense. He’s strong for his size, and has a great willingness to fight and battle for stops, and possessions.

Then on top of all of that, Bazemore has an explosive leap.

Bazemore’s jumping ability comes into play on both ends of the floor. Although he’ll leap high above the opposition to put them on his poster with a thunderous dunk, Bazemore will also track the length of the floor before taking off for spectacular chase down blocks too.
