Overall Evaluation

These are two great signings for the Detroit Pistons. Van Gundy has picked up two guys who can contribute, both on-the-court and in terms of intangibles, while also being perfect fits for the system he’s expected to implement.

Detroit aren’t quite finished with their signings either, so they remain a team to keep an eye on. Their next move will likely be the most interesting of them all, as they will have decisions to make on Greg Monroe.

No matter what way that process unfolds though, Pistons fans should be happy that they will enter next season with a much more well-rounded roster.
