Derrick Williams finds himself in the incredibly rare position of being a fourth year player in Summer League. Williams was the second overall pick by Minnesota back in 2011, and although he hasn’t quite lived up to those lofty expectations, the former Arizona man has been a solid NBA presence in his time in the league.

With the Kings front court rotation particularly crowded, it’s vitally important for Williams to prove during his time in Vegas, that he’s worthy of his place when November rolls around. Williams will be expected by the coaching staff to show his veteran savvy around the rim on both ends of the floor.
