McCallum had an active rookie season, playing 45 games with the Kings, while also having a spell in the D-League with the Reno Bighorns. Having averaged just under 20 minutes per game in Sacramento, McCallum logged significant minutes last season, and will be looking to show the value of that experience over the coming days.

The 23-year-old is a capable scorer, but I’d be surprised if the Kings hadn’t asked him to use Summer League as an exercise to show he can improve his efficiency. Another key for McCallum will be to show his skills as a true point guard and distributor, as his assist numbers were a little low as a rookie.
