Face Palm Time:

The last time Ric Bucher tweeted a juicy NBA rumor, it was about Kyle Lowry joining the Miami Heat and Chris Bosh heading back to the Toronto Raptors (a tweet he later took down and apologized for), so take this with a grain of salt because mistakes certainly happen during this time of year. But according to Bucher, the Golden State Warriors might have made a truly dumb decision not too long ago:

Even if the first round pick part isn’t true, this would still be terribly disappointing news. Although Harrison Barnes has been criticized a bit too much for a player who’s only 22 years old, shipping him to the Orlando Magic for a proven commodity like Arron Afflalo would have been a huge upgrade.

It also would have made either Klay Thompson or Afflalo expendable in a potential Kevin Love trade.

Last I checked, Harrison Barnes wouldn’t be as attractive to the Minnesota Timberwolves as either Thompson or Afflalo. If Bucher’s report is accurate, then … face palm, Warriors. Major face palm.
