The Bobcats drafted Walker with the ninth overall pick in 2011 after he led Connecticut to a national championship and, after a short apprenticeship on the bench, has been the starting point guard ever since.

In three seasons, Walker has averaged 16 points, 5.5 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 32.9 minutes per game, shooting .398/.322/.810.

Walker holds a Bobcats’ single-season record with his 160 steals in 2012-13.

He is fourth in Bobcats history with 1,207 assists, 306 steals and 285 3-pointers; fifth with 3,543 points, ninth with 221 games; and 10th with 823 rebounds.

Walker can become a restricted free agent at the end of the 2014-15 season.
