All indications in his career to date are that Chandler Parsons is a great guy to play with, and be around. He’s confident without being flashy, and shows signs of real potential to grow into a leadership role as his career progresses.

Parsons seems to have no problem understanding and accepting his role in any team that he’s in, and that’s something that’s valued incredibly high by teammates in the NBA. The fact that Parsons is a willing passer doesn’t hurt either.

On top of that, Parsons happy-go-lucky demeanor seems to make him a very popular figure, and an attractive role player for bigger names considering a team to come and play with. Both Parsons and Dwight Howard have spoken about the role Parsons played in helping to lure the big man to Houston, and guys who can do that as well as being solid players are a valuable commodity.
