2008

JaVale McGee, 18th overall

Impact guys taken after No. 18: Serge Ibaka, DeAndre Jordan, Nicolas Batum

Bill Walker, 47th overall

The Wizards picked Swaggy P and JaVale McGee with consecutive first-round picks. That will go down as one of the funniest two years of drafting in league history. McGee, who jumped off on paper because of his length and athleticism, never even became a decent rim protector as a Wizard.

Like there are way too many of these videos.

And this.

The Wizards took a chance with Walker, who was a highly touted high school prospect at one time, but never developed past that and would never play a game as a Wizard.
