2012

Bradley Beal, third overall

Tomas Satoransky, 32nd overall

With their second top-three pick in three years, the Wizards nailed this one as well and it was much more impressive of a pick than when they drafted John Wall two years earlier.

There were mixed opinions coming out about Beal during the draft process. Was he really an elite shooter? Could he be a legit playmaker? The Wizards knew he was their guy and have paired him up with Wall, which could be the best backcourt in the league within the next few years.

Beal looks a stellar pick for the franchise.

Tomas Satoransky is expected to play for the Wizards this summer and is hoped to be a potential candidate to back up Wall at the point guard position. He is currently playing ACB League over in Spain, where he is averaging 12.4 points per game along with 4.6 assists.
