Power Forward

Jarnell Stokes

One of the most important things for the Clippers to consider when looking at forward prospects is if they’re strong enough to play immediately with the NBA’s big men. There can be no doubts over Stokes’ ability to do just that, as at more than 260 pounds, he has the strength and power to bang bodies in the post.

Stokes is a dominant rebounder, with a knack for scoring inside. He loves the physicality of the paint, and will use his body to create space for himself to score down low. Although he’s undersized for a power forward, his skill set and physical measurements aren’t dissimilar to Paul Millsap‘s when he entered the NBA.

Alternate options include: Clint Capela, Dwight Powell
