Bucher Bomb?
According to a Ric Bucher tweet, the Toronto Raptors could be looking at a potential sign-and-trade situation sending Kyle Lowry to the Miami Heat. The move would be interesting right after trading up to acquire Napier, but Lowry would be a definite upgrade at the point guard position over Mario Chalmers and Napier. The Raptors would acquire Norris Cole, cash and future draft picks in return. In part two of Bucher’s tweet, Chris Bosh would opt out and return to Toronto. WUT.
In addition to this being completely bonkers, can we just appreciate for a second that NOW IS NOT THE TIME FOR THE WORLD’S FIRST BUCHER BOMB?
Lowry to Mia makes sense if it opens door to Melo. Big 3 becomes a younger, more athletic Big 4 (Lowry/Wade/LBJ/Melo). Instant EC favorite.
