Power Forward

Javon McCrea

Due to his background of entering the draft via the University of Buffalo, a low profile MAC school, McCrea is a guy who is still flying under a lot of teams’ radars. The Pistons currently have a log-jam up front, but with trade speculation suggesting that that might change in the near future, they might be looking to add someone with McCrea’s skills.

The 21-year-old is a great defender, who might surprise people with the impact he could have when he comes into the league. McCrea is an excellent shot blocker, having averaged just under two per game for his four years as a Buffalo Bull. He is also a strong rebounder, who is willing to work his way inside the paint to create high percentage scoring opportunities for himself.

Alternate options include: Khem Birch, Dwight Powell
