Bryce Cotton

With Brandon Jennings having a questionable first season in Detroit (doing everything that you’d expect from Jennings), there’s a question as to whether Stan Van Gundy will look to make someone else his floor general going forward. Although, the second round in this year’s draft may not necessarily be the place where he finds that starter, he could at least add a promising backup.

Providence’s Bryce Cotton could be a guy who fits that bill in the second round. Cotton is a big time scorer, who can get great looks for himself off penetration, as well as knocking down jumpers when he gets his feet set. On top of his scoring, Cotton more than doubled his assist numbers in his final season in college too, adding a much needed extra dimension to his offensive game.
