Synopsis
There is no question that Dante Exum has the raw talent and natural physical tools to be a special player at any level. The question that remains unanswered is how he will respond to the huge jump in competition level he is about to face in the NBA. It could take him some time to adjust and make a real impact, but he has the work ethic and ability to overcome any early hurdles.

His size, length and quickness should allow him to make a positive impact on the defensive end while he adjusts to the responsibility of leading an offense. He will need to make significant improvements shooting the ball to really be an offensive force as that outside shot will compliment his elite first step and driving ability.

Exum has the raw talent to become the most successful player in Australian basketball history and along with some other young stars are taking the country into a new and exciting era of hoops. He may well be a huge boom-or-bust pick in the top four, but his rare combination of skills and physical traits give him the potential to be a truly special player in the NBA.
