Minnesota Timberwolves: Consensus Draft Selection

Rodney Hood, F, Duke
Hood is a guy that I have not touched on as we have approached the NBA Draft.
He was the second guy on a Duke squad that featured potential first overall selection Jabari Parker. With this in mind, it’s a little clearer why Hood has not been talked about that much this year.
However, he’s a solid shooter who can score in more ways than just the jump shot. In terms of adding a threat on the offensive end, the Timberwolves will have succeeded, but like most rookies he will need to work on his defense.
With Hood in the fold, the bench would get an immediate boost, and there could be some lineups that allow the Wolves to trot out Kevin Martin-Hood-Love to give Ricky Rubio a full complement of scorers to dish the ball to along with Nikola Pekovic down low.
