 Welcome, Ron Adams:

Speaking of experience, the Warriors coaching staff is really starting to round into shape after hiring Ron Adams, who last served as an assistant head coach to Brad Stevens and the Boston Celtics last season. Adams has coached for the San Antonio Spurs, Milwaukee Bucks, Chicago Bulls and Oklahoma City Thunder in his two decades in the league.

Adams is known as a terrific defensive coach and the prospect of being able to move back to the state where he played college basketball was most likely what tempted this well-respected assistant to take the position. Between Kerr, Gentry and Adams, the Warriors have already assembled quite an impressive coaching ensemble. How these new pieces translate into wins and losses remains to be seen, but for now the Dubs are making some pretty savvy personnel moves.
