Taken with the 10th pick of the 1999 draft, Jason Terry became a cornerstone of the Hawks team for a number of years. Terry’s exuberant personality, as well as an eye for the big shot, make him the type of player who stands out on the floor, and that’s exactly what Terry did during his time as a Hawk.

Playing as a combo guard, “Jet,” as he’s known, did a little bit of everything on the offensive end during his time in Atlanta. In his second year, Terry averaged what is still his career high of 19.7 points, while two years later, he set his high in assists at 7.4.

Terry was traded to Dallas in 2004, and went on to have a truly successful career as a Maverick. This included winning a Championship in 2011, but to this day, Terry is still fondly remembered in Atlanta.
