Now that the NBA Finals are over, the No. 1 question on every basketball fan’s mind is: What does the future hold for LeBron James? But the second biggest question, and one that we’ve been asking for weeks now, is where will Kevin Love end up? According to Love himself, the Golden State Warriors are one of his most desirable trade destinations, even more desirable than the Houston Rockets or his current team. So why haven’t there been more trade rumblings?

This Warriors-Love mutual interest so far has been like watching the boys and girls at a Catholic middle school awkwardly stare at each other at the first school dance. The boys want to break the ice, but nobody wants to be the first one scorned by the girl and everyone’s in constant fear of being reprimanded by school chaperone Flip Saunders. The Warriors and Love are ready to slow dance, but Saunders and Minnesota Timberwolves fans definitely feel like they need to “leave room for the Holy Spirit” in this scenario.
