Scott is an incredibly capable rebounder, but there’s still plenty of room for him to improve. Scott likes to compete, and seems to enjoy the physicality around the paint. He has good awareness and positioning, allowing him to grab rebounds even over taller forwards.

As is true for the rest of his game, Scott could do with working on his focus and engagement. On defense, and more specifically when he’s rebounding, there are times where Scott switches off and allows his man to grab an easy bucket. It shouldn’t be a major concern, as with greater experience and maturity, I’d expect it to improve though.

In terms of numbers, Scott averaged 3.6 boards per game last season, which translates to 6.9 rebounds per 36 minutes. That’s a solid base for Scott to build on, and there’s still potential for him to establish himself as a reliable rebounder.
