Tayshaun Prince may now be no more than a bit-part player in the NBA, but his influence on the Pistons as a franchise is undeniable. Prince spent eleven seasons in Detroit as one of the few constants in an ever changing team that experienced the ultimate in both highs and lows.

Prince was the young player who came in and added the type of energy and exuberance that pushed the Pistons over the edge and elevated them from a contender to champions.

Prince earned a reputation as a great defender, but scored many important buckets during his time in Detroit too. For a guy who was drafted with the 23rd pick of the 2002 Draft, Prince represented great value, and had a significant impact on the history of the Pistons.
