Although he may not be with the Pistons much longer, in his four years with the Detroit, Greg Monroe has made a sizable impact. Monroe is a free agent this summer, and interest will likely be high, but if he does return to Detroit, the 24-year-old will have every chance to build on the promising start he has made to his NBA career.

Monroe is an athletic and dynamic big man who has been one of the few bright lights through a tough few years for the Pistons. After a successful three seasons as a Georgetown Hoya, Monroe was selected with the seventh pick by the Pistons in the 2010 Draft.

Monroe, as both a power forward and a center, has shown himself to be capable of being a dominant scorer and rebounder. If he does stay in Detroit, he can form a part of an incredible two man tandem that can terrorize the NBA for years to come. Even if Monroe moves on, you can’t help but feel that bright things lie ahead though.
