Detroit Pistons: Draft Prospect – Spencer Dinwiddie
By Adam McGee
Strong Defensive Instincts
Just like with his passing, Dinwiddie sees the court, and reads situations incredibly well on the defensive end.
He seems to have an in-built understanding of where he should position himself on that end of the floor, and as a result wreaks constant havoc for the opposition.
Dinwiddie’s combination of length and lateral quickness means he can guard across positions one to three. He breaks up plays in the passing lanes, and makes it incredibly tough for smaller guards to shoot over him.
