Overall, the Lakers would be very wise to go out and try to sign Stephenson this coming offseason. The Pacers are currently expected to be able to re-sign their starting shooting guard, but they wouldn’t be able to match an offer of around $10 million per season. Los Angeles would be able to make that type of an offer to him if they choose to spend their money that way. Don’t be surprised to hear more about a potential Stephenson to the Lakers signing in the next few weeks.
