Los Angeles Clippers: Draft Prospect – Jordan Clarkson
By Adam McGee
Playmaking
If Clarkson does want to become a point guard in the NBA, he will likely need to alter his style of play. Clarkson lacks vision, and only averaged 3.4 assists per game last season.
That tally will need to almost double if the 22-year-old holds aspirations of being a starting floor general in the league. In spite of his low assist numbers, Clarkson frequently turns the ball over too, doing so 2.7 times per game last year.
At his current level Clarkson doesn’t have enough about his movement, or passing ability to indicate that he can man the floor as a lead guard in the NBA.
