As a legitimate 7-footer, Muscala has great rebounding potential. The 22-year-old’s long arms, and energetic demeanor on the court mean that he competes for every loose ball coming off the boards.

In Muscala’s 10.7 minutes per game, he averaged 2.6 rebounds, a sign of his activity level. If we adjust his numbers per 36 minutes though, Muscala averaged 8.7 boards.

Muscala’s instincts for rebounding are very impressive, and he still has lots of room to grow in that sense.  If he gets a chance to work in an expanded role in the NBA next season, Muscala’s rebounding could take another leap forward.
