Three Point Shooting

You might not see it mentioned in too many places, but Bogdanovic could well have the potential to become the best shooter in this draft class. Entering into it, it would at least seem like there’s no one else that can match his range. Bogdanovic attempts 3-pointers that even many veteran NBA shooters likely wouldn’t be brave enough to.

When it comes to 3-point shooters there are a couple of different types of players. Some guys are meticulous in ensuring that their foot is just the right side of the line to make it an efficient shot, and others are just “bombers,” willing to launch from anywhere in the building. Bogdanovic is the latter.

The Serbian has a uniquely high arching shooting stroke, that allows him to make even the lengthiest of attempts seem effortless (see video above for lackadaisical heave) . Between the EuroLeague and Adriatic League last season, Bogdanovic shot 35.2 percent from deep. This shows that there’s still plenty of room for him to improve, but it’s hard to ignore his range and fundamentals.
