Southeasterly Sails

It’s not that surprising that the Atlanta Hawks were active at the trade deadline, but trading their best player in Al Horford is a bit surprising.

Don’t discount the Charlotte Hornets when it comes to free agency. Lots of guards would love to play with a post presence like Al Jefferson.

It was nice to see Greg Oden back on the court for the Miami Heat, even though it was in extremely limited time. Good news is, he’s definitely playing next year, too.

The Orlando Magic are keeping a close eye on Jabari Parker, but it’s looking like they’re going to need to put together a trade to jump up in the lottery to grab him.

It seems as if Marcin Gortat takes his roads very seriously. The Washington Post is reporting that could actually be a factor in his returning to the Washington Wizards.
