Adams has the advantage of having played some more basketball than many other guys in this draft, but at the same time he was exceptionally young for a sophomore. That means any team that decides to take a punt on him will still have plenty of time to shape him, and he could yet have a much higher ceiling that can be currently imagined.

On the whole, Adams has definite potential to develop into a solid player in the NBA. He may not be the sort of guy that will come straight out of this draft and transform himself into a star, but on a good team, with a good coach, he could definitely have a role to play.
