Adams’ size and length also make him a strong rebounding two guard, which is a really valuable asset in the NBA. Adams doesn’t just tidy up defensively, but displays energy on the offensive end to try and grab boards there too.

In just over 30 minutes per game for UCLA last season, Adams averaged 5.3 rebounds per game. For any NBA team, adding a guard that can be a strong and regular rebounder is always a positive, and I’d expect it to stand to Adams in the draft.

The fact that it’s not only work on the defensive boards, which could potentially be uncontested, but that Adams crashes the offensive glass too is very intriguing. Of Adams’ 5.3 rebounds, just under two of those were on the offensive end. Whether it’s his own shot or a teammate’s Adams does a great job of tidying up on offense.
