Los Angeles Clippers: Draft Prospect – Jordan Adams
By Adam McGee
Scoring
Traditionally, one of the most important skills for a shooting guard is a true scoring ability. Wings in general are expected to be able to score the basketball in a variety of ways, and Jordan Adams can do this.
Adams has the size to score inside, as well as a solid shooting stroke to score from closer to the perimeter. At 6’5″ with a 6’10” wingspan, Adams has the potential to post up in the NBA as his length will allow him to spin and shoot over most wing defenders.
Adams’ shooting stroke has improved during his time with UCLA, and he has become very efficient inside, while being more than capable from three point range too. Something to look out for with Adams is his outstanding ability to move off the ball. Although Adams isn’t the quickest, he shows great awareness when cutting to the basket to find open shots.
