There’s no point having an abundance of speed if you can’t put the ball in the basket at the end of a possession. Christon doesn’t have that problem either, as although his jump shot is far from spectacular, in close quarters he has a variety of ways to finish the possession.

At 6’3″, Christon may not be much of a dunker, but that doesn’t prevent him from scoring over big men. The Ohio native’s athleticism provides him with a strong combination of layups in his arsenal, while he is also adept at using the backboard to his advantage. Although he’s a weak finisher with his off hand, Christon’s speed mean’s that more often than not, he can get in position to finish with his right at the rim.

Something else which should really be added to his finishing ability, is his ability to get to the line. Even when he was prevented from finishing traditionally due to a foul, Christon draws enough contact to get to the line. As a sophomore, Christon attempted an impressive 6.9 free throw attempts per game, which is an important tool for a point guard..
