Although Martin’s main priority and asset that he brought to the team was his shooting, he showed a willingness to work hard, and fight in many other areas across the floor. One such area where he put in a solid contribution was rebounding.

At 6’7″, Martin has good size, particularly when pitted up against shooting guards. When these mismatches occurred, the former Kansas State Wildcat would look to exploit them, by re-doubling his efforts on the glass.

As a Hawk, Martin averaged two boards in his 15.6 minutes per game. Adjusted per 36 minutes, that gives Martin 4.6 rebounds, which although far from spectacular, is a solid contribution that highlights his willingness to work on the court.
