Golden State Warriors 2013-14 Player Grades: Jordan Crawford
Strengths:
That being said, any guy who’s given the ball off the bench and called upon to put up shots is going to have his nights. Crawford was no different, especially after Blake’s arrival took the ball out of his hands and allowed him to thrive as an off-the-ball scoring option. Crawford mostly looked out of sorts in Golden State’s already questionable offense, but on the occasions when he was given the ball and expected to make something out of nothing, he usually did a decent job of at least getting a shot off.
In other words, if you needed an irrational confidence guy off the bench, Crawford was your man. He didn’t do the job the Warriors were hoping for, only converting on 41 percent of his field goal attempts while committing 1.2 turnovers per game. But he was a decent acquisition that started to round more into shape once the Warriors added Blake to assume the ball handling responsibilities.
