Rebounding

Despite being agile and capable of stepping out to shoot from deep, Jerebko is still capable of playing physically around the basket. At 6″10, Jerebko has no problem grabbing rebounds, and his long arms do a good job of securing possession.

Rebounding was one of the Pistons strong points last season, with Andre Drummond, Greg Monroe and Josh Smith all excellent rebounders, but theres no reason why Jerebko couldn’t be a nice compliment in that regard, coming off the bench.

For his career, the Swede averages 4.5 boards in 20.8 minutes per game, which is pretty solid production. Then last season, although he had a career low 2.7 rebounds per game due to reduced minutes, Jerebko’s per 36 numbers reveal it to be his most effective season in terms of rebounding. With his career numbers adjusted as if he had played 36 minutes per game, we get a glimpse of Jerebko’s rebounding potential, 7.7 per 36, if he gets a greater opportunity in the coming season.
