Gary Harris, SG

Gary Harris is a very solid player and there’s not really a scenario where you could see him not doing well in Philadelphia. The Michigan State guard has a smooth jump shot; is a competent ball handler and can slash well.

Questions about his size shouldn’t concern Sam Hinkie — having a backcourt mate the size of Michael Carter-Williams means Harris could slot over and guard the 1 while MCW takes the 2 if needs be.

Harris shot 35 percent from 3 this past season, which was down 6 percent, but if he can get it to around 37 percent or better, he will space the floor and give the Rookie of the Year the space in the paint he needs to wreak havoc.

By drafting Harris, Philly could secure their backcourt for the next 10 years.
