Although, Jennings is talented, it’s almost impossible to envision him becoming wise. At 24, he’s still incredibly young for the NBA, and has plenty of time to develop, but the question is whether Jennings has sufficient work ethic and the correct attitude to make the most of his potential.

Jennings is the polar opposite of some of the calming point guards Van Gundy has worked with in the past, and it’s tough to know whether he can even be coached to change his mindset. Time will tell just what Jennings is capable of, but right now, it’s tough to feel optimistic.
