Daily NBA Fix 5-27-14: Paul George’s Finger Pointing The Wrong Way
By Phil Watson
MIAMI HEAT 102, Indiana Pacers 90
Game 4, Eastern Conference Finals
The Heat are now one win away from a fourth straight trip to the NBA Finals, something no one has done since the Los Angeles Lakers from 1982-85.
The Boston Celtics are the only other NBA franchise to accomplish the feat.
Miami, for the first time in the series, led after one quarter, 27-19, and went into the fourth quarter with an 80-64 edge.
LeBron James, called out by Indiana’s Lance Stephenson after Game 3, went off for 32 points and 10 rebounds, Chris Bosh had 25 points and Dwyane Wade added 15.
For the Pacers, Paul George finished with 23 points, David West added 20 points and 12 rebounds and George Hill scored 15 points. Stephenson, for his part, had nine points—one in the first three periods.
Game 5 is Wednesday night in Indianapolis.
