DeMar DeRozan

23.9 PPG, 4.1 RPG, 3.6 APG, 1.1 SPG, 11.3 FTA, 89.9 FT%

If you live in the Toronto area or support the Toronto Raptors from afar, you already knew that DeRozan had this type of game in him. He’s an electric scorer with a knack for getting to the free-throw line, and that’s exactly what he was able to accomplish over and over again during this playoffs.

DeRozan missed just eight of his 79 free-throw attempts during this series and in the only two games where he went to the line less than 11 times, he didn’t miss a single one. DeMar didn’t have the greatest impact in other facets like the other guys on this list, but he was extremely important to his team. He did have a terrific performance in Game 5 against the Brooklyn Nets, where he scored 23 with six rebounds, five assists, three steals and a block in a two-point win.

He had been somewhat inconsistent during the regular season in getting to the foul stripe, but he was awesome in this series and deserves serious consideration for our award — especially since he didn’t make it out of the first round and was a higher seed.
