The future is unclear for Stuckey as his contract with the Pistons expires. With a new general manager, and a new head coach yet to be appointed, it’s difficult to tell what direction the Pistons will take going forward. Unless he is willing to take a pay cut, it seems unlikely Stuckey will be involved though.

His current deal of $8.5 million a year is incredibly generous for a guy coming off the bench purely as a scorer, and if he wanted to stay in Detroit it may be necessary for him to cut that in half.

Either way, no matter who Stuckey signs with, expect to see him scoring for years to come.
