Despite never having been the greatest of 3-point shooters, Rodney Stuckey has always been fond of taking them. This was a bigger problem than ever before last season, as Stuckey attempted a career high 3.0 attempts from behind the arc per game. This year, he managed to cut that back down to only 1.6 3sa game, as he looked to be more aggressive with the ball in his hands.

A total of 67.2 percent of Stuckey’s field goal attempts were from within 16 feet this season, the highest they’ve been in over three seasons. This is highlighted in the improvement in Stuckey’s field goal percentage to 43.6 percent, and also his career high number of field goals made per game at 6.9.

The improved shot selection from Stuckey saw him place second on the team in fast break points, and fourth, only behind the starting frontcourt, in points in the paint.
