Stuckey has always been a competent scorer, and this year was no different. In only 26 minutes per game, the lowest since his rookie season, Stuckey averaged 13.9 points per game. To put that figure in perspective, even with his reduced minutes, that was Stuckey’s fourth best scoring performance of his career, and a big improvement on his 11.5 points last season.

Only starters Josh Smith, Brandon Jennings and Greg Monroe averaged more points than Stuckey. Also, if we look at scoring per 36 minutes, creating more of a level playing field between the whole roster, Stuckey averages 18.7 points, which is a team high.

The 28-year-old’s scoring allowed his coaches to rest starters, knowing that they still had a go-to scoring presence on the floor.
