Phoenix Suns 2013-14 Player Grades: Leandro Barbosa
Lowlights:
Barbosa’s injuries were obviously the biggest downer on his half-season back with the Suns, especially when you consider the biggest reason Phoenix brought him on in the first place was to make up for another guard being injured. But as far as his actual time on the court is concerned, Barbosa’s worst times were pretty much every time he shot a three or gave up a bucket on the defensive end.
It was a rough couple of first games back for Barbosa, who averaged 5.3 points per game in his first three with the Suns while shooting 6-for-22 from the field (27 percent). But after that Barbosa looked a lot more like his usual self for the most part, with the exception of a 1-for-7 performance against the Denver Nuggets on Feb. 18.
