With regards to scoring, March proved to be the best month of the season for Noah as he posted averages of 14.1 points, 9.8 rebounds and 7.5 assists per game. But what most fans will remember is that he recorded two triple-doubles in the span of three games.

In a home game against the New York Knicks on Mar. 2, Noah scored 13 points, pulled down 12 rebounds and handed out 14 assists. A few nights later against the Detroit Pistons, he scored 10 points to go along with 11 rebounds and 11 assists. It was at this point of the season when people began to realize just how valuable he was to the team.

In fact, Noah’s effort on both ends of the floor was so impressive that fans at the United Center began showering the Bulls big man with MVP chants during the latter part of the season. Although Noah did not agree with the praise he received, his play certainly warranted it.
