Let’s just say that when Antic arrived in Atlanta, it didn’t take the fans too long to realize that he was a guy who shouldn’t be messed with. Antic cuts an imposing figure with his combination of bald head, beard and tattoos, but his physicality and play on the court back it up to be more than an image.

Off the court, Antic is the epitome of a soft spoken, gentle giant, yet when he takes to the court a competitive switch flicks in him.

The ultimate teammate, he will stand up for his team, and do what it takes to win, as highlighted by his clashes with David West in the post-season. Overall, he provides the sort of mental and physical toughness that is valuable to have in a locker room.
