Phoenix Suns 2013-14 Player Grades: Shavlik Randolph
Grade: C-
Is Shavlik Randolph really a C- player compared to the rest of the league? Probably not. But we can only judge him so severely when he averaged 6.8 minutes per game in 14 games for the Phoenix Suns this season. It was only last season that Randolph was putting up 12.2 points, 12.7 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.3 blocks per 36 minutes with the Boston Celtics, while also shooting 58 percent from the floor. Plumlee and Len undoubtedly have more potential than Randolph at this stage in their careers, but Randolph could serve as a useful mentor and example of hard work and fundamental interior play for these young prospects.
