Number of games down, minutes down, points down, rebounds down, assists down … do I really need to keep going? Charlie V is already considered to be one of the most misguided acquisitions in Pistons history, and I suppose in that respect, it’s a fitting end to the Villanueva era. His excessively rich contract finally expires this summer, and the Pistons would be crazy to renew with him for even a minimum offer.

In need of improving: Interview techniques? His short game? I’ll be surprised if any team feels Villanueva is a fit for them, and if that’s proven true, he better get used to the golf course.
