Season Averages: 1.0 PPG, 1.2 RPG, 0.1 APG, 0.3 SPG, 0.1 BPG, FG% 41.7, FT% 51.9

Taken with the 37th pick of the draft, Mitchell would have been expected to be a regular fixture of the Pistons rotation. That hasn’t been what’s transpired though, as Mitchell spent even more time than Siva in the D-League. The Pistons will hope that his time in Fort Wayne will have helped him to develop. so that next year he can make more than 21 appearances for the team.

In need of improving: Free throws. Unless he puts the work in, Mitchell is going to become the latest in the line of Pistons bigs that can’t shoot free throws.
