Season Averages: 5.9 PPG, 2.0 RPG, 0.7 APG, 0.9 SPG, 0.2 BPG, FG% 39.6, 3PT% 31.9, FT% 77.0

Caldwell-Pope had a solid rookie season, without fully showcasing his maximum potential. KCP’s minutes fluctuated greatly throughout the season, and with them, so did his performances. Under Maurice Cheeks, Caldwell-Pope was a regular starter, while John Loyer saw him in more of a bench role. At times there were flashes of the former Georgia star’s ability, which could undoubtedly make him a force on both ends of the floor. A positive for him will be the manner that he closed out the season, scoring 30 points on the road in OKC.

In need of improving: His efficiency. Caldwell-Pope needs to focus on taking higher quality shots, or if they don’t present themselves, passing to an open man.

Grade: C+
