LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS 138, Golden State Warriors 98
Game 2, Western Conference First Round
The Clippers led by 11 after a quarter, 26 at the half and 32 after three periods—at which point they had matched their 105 points from Game 1 on Saturday—and won by 40 in as dominant a showing as we’ve seen in a playoff game for awhile.
Blake Griffin bounced back from a sub-par Game 1 where he was held to 16 points in 19 minutes to score a career playoff high 35 points as L.A. never trailed in the game.
Seven Clippers scored in double figures as L.A. hit 56.6 percent from the floor and 12-of-25 (48 percent) from deep, while scoring 27 points off the Warriors’ 26 turnovers.
Danny Granger came off the bench to score 15 points in 18 minutes for the Clippers, Chris Paul finished with 12 points, 10 assists and five steals, Darren Collison also had 12 points and 10 dimes, DeAndre Jordan went for 11 points and five blocked shots and Jamal Crawford had three steals.
Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 24 points and eight assists and Andre Iguodala had three steals.
Series tied, 1-1
