HoopsHabit Hawks Player of the Week, Jeff Teague.

The Hawks point guard was one of the few men on the roster to feature in every game this week, although his minutes were limited against Charlotte and Milwaukee. It was his playoff performance that made him truly worthy of Player of the Week though.

Coach Budenholzer wanted Teague to be aggressive and that’s exactly what he was. Teague put on a show in his home city, as he was just too much for George Hill to handle. Teague had a career playoff high of 28 points, scoring with a mixture of layups, floaters and three pointers. His most memorable play of the game was a beautiful crossover to take Evan Turner away from him and then a pull up three pointer.

For the week, Teague averaged 16.7 points and four assists, while shooting 51.5 percent from the field, and 50 percent from behind the arc.
